Valentine’s Day Celebration

Valentine’s Day Celebration at St. Xavier’s Pre-Primary School
Valentine’s Day, also celebrated as the Feast Day of Saint Valentine, is a special day to show appreciation and love to our family, friends and loved ones. This year the students of UKG and LKG
celebrated Valentine’s Day by making some lovely heart shaped mementos for their families. They were given heart-shaped cut outs, which they coloured and wrote messages on, for their parents. A simple heartfelt message from a child can mean the world to his parents and that’s exactly what we were aiming for with this gesture on Valentine’s Day. The students were asked to come dressed in red t-shirts and their school shorts and they all looked exceptionally cute in their attire. They were also asked to carry red coloured foods like strawberries, watermelons, pomegranates, apples and cakes to add the colour of love to this special day. Needless to say, our little students were very excited to celebrate this day at school and take home the special mementos they made for their families.
