National Sports Day

Celebrating the Spirit of Sportsmanship

National Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement at St. Vincent’s Primary School on 27th and 28th August 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The celebrations were conducted over two days at Fr. Oesch Hall. The first day welcomed students of Pre-Primary to Std. 2, while the second day included enthusiastic participation of students from Std. 3 to Std. 6. The event featured a wide range of interactive game stalls, such as Hockey, Basketball, Hopscotch, Catch the Baton, Roll the Car, Hand-Eye Coordination, Toss the Ring, and many other engaging activities. Alongside the games, food stalls offering various snacks enhanced the festive atmosphere. The successful two-day event came to a joyful close, leaving the children with wonderful memories of fitness and fun. It stood as a fitting tribute to Major Dhyan Chand, whose extraordinary legacy continues to inspire the passionate young sports stars of our school.
