Diwali Celebration
20th October, being the last day before the school closed for the Diwali vacation, we had a Diwali party. The celebrations began a week prior, where the children made and decorated paper lanterns and each class participated in decorating a large hand drawn diya collectively.
The children came dressed in traditional attire and party clothes. Sweets were distributed and songs were sung. They enjoyed decorating clay diyas with different shades of glitter, which they then excitedly took home.
