St. Xavier’s Nursery – The Fruit and Vegetable Fun day
The little boys of the Nursery section enjoyed a Fruit and Vegetable Fun day on Tuesday, 14th February 2023. They sang action songs based on fruits and vegetables. The highlight of the day was the Fancy Dress, for which some students came dressed as a fruit or vegetable and spoke a few lines on that particular item. It was heartening to see the little boys speak with confidence. The other boys were dressed in the colour of their favourite fruit or vegetable. They all relished the array of yummy fruits sent for their snack. It was a fun-filled morning and a good opportunity for the young boys to learn about the different fruits and vegetables, thus being encouraged to eat healthy. The Nursery section was decorated with a variety of sponge-painted, paper cut-out fruits and vegetables, thus adding colour to the day.
