An orientation for teachers
On 13 th June 2023 an orientation programme for the staff of St. Vincent’s High school and Loyola High school was organized by the school management. The resource person for the same was Rev. Fr. Roland Coelho S.J, the Jesuit Provincial of Goa. Fr. Roland drew out four lessons namely: faith, depth, reconciliation and global citizenship from a personal parable that he narrated.
He stressed on the four C’s of the Ignatian legacy namely compassion, commitment, competence and conscience further he underscored that a good teacher is one who always thinks, feels and puts into action. Through various activities and group interactions he helped us to delve more deeply into the Ignatian pedagogy.
