Republic Day Celebration

Republic Day Celebration at St.Xavier’s Pre-Primary School
The 74 th Republic Day was celebrated by the students of UKG and LKG on the 25 th of January, 2023.
The boys were asked to come dressed in t-shirts/shirts of any one of the tri-colours or dressed as any
of the freedom fighters of India. Some of the students of UKG even memorized and recited a few
famous lines of freedom fighters such as Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi. There was a
small assembly organised on the school ground where all the boys sang Hum Honge Kamyaab and a
few other hymns taught as a part of their music class. The notice board in the main hall way was
decorated with the tri-coloured flag, cut outs of pigeons symbolizing peace and harmony and Indian
Airforce rockets that were handcrafted from easily available household items. Sweets were
distributed among all the students, and it was yet another wonderful celebration in the pre-primary
section.
