ANNUAL SPORTS DAY
Sports is an integral part of education. Sports not only builds a child confidence but also helps in his overall development. Here at St. Xavier’s pre – primary we not only impart knowledge but also
ensure the children have ample physical activities for their growth. Keeping the importance of sports in mind, we the teachers along with the help of our experienced sports teachers organized our Annual Sports Day for the primary and pre-primary children. The sports day was held on two consecutive days 30 th and 31 st Jan’24. The event was declared open by our Chief guests Fr. Francis Dsouza the Manager of St. Vincent’s High School and Fr. Francis Raja our Vice Principal. The event began with a colorful drill display put up by the students of 1 st , 2 nd , UKG and LKG. The children participated enthusiastically and with a zeal to win in all the sports. The winners were felicitated with medals and certificates. We also had a few races for our parents, which was a cherry on the cake. To keep the little, one’s motivated they were all given a small goodie bag with sweet treats and a gift. The entire event was very well organized and well appreciated by all
those who were present.
