Reimagining and Restructuring Jesuit Education in South Asia
The Triennial 2024 Jesuit educators meet was successfully held on 29th and 30th October,2024 at the P.G. Block Jnana Deepa, Pune organized by the Conference Secretariat for School Education (CSSE) New Delhi for the 4 west zone provinces of Gujarat, Bombay, Pune and Goa. This year’s meet of the network of Jesuit schools in South Asia was attended by Jesuits involved in school education, collaborators and senior teachers. An educator’s aim is to impart quality education to children so as to make them future leaders and nation builders. This year’s theme was: Reimagining and Restructuring Jesuit Education in today’s South Asian Context: Review, Reinvent and Renew. The grand success of the triennial was due to its objectives been fulfilled and a disposition of an open, humble, generous heart and mind of every organizer, resource person and participant. The five step Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm was systematically followed with the final plan of action as educators to provide optimal service and love for the greater glory of God. It truly was a heart rendering and memorable experience where ideas and suggestions were exchanged by different representatives. The educators’ meet was a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in the teaching learning process. A special thanks to all who contributed to this enriching experience as we look forward to implement new ideas.
