The AI and Robotics Lab in our Primary Section was officially inaugurated by Fr. Agnelo Mascarenhas, the Provincial of Pune during the school’s feast day on September 27, 2024. The inauguration ceremony, meticulously organized by our esteemed Principal, Fr. Titus, featured a well-structured programme and was attended by a diverse group of educators and students. During his address, Fr. Agnelo Mascarenhas underscored the importance of integrating artificial intelligence and robotics into our educational framework to adequately prepare the younger generation for the future. He emphasized that these technologies are pivotal in transforming industries, creating new employment opportunities and addressing complex global challenges.
Fr. Mascarenhas commended the institution for its initiative in establishing the lab, asserting that it would serve as a vibrant hub for creativity, collaboration and technological innovation.The facility is designed to enhance students’ learning experiences by offering hands-on opportunities in artificial intelligence and robotics. It will function as an innovation centre, promoting creativity and critical problem-solving skills. By embedding advanced technology into our curriculum, we aspire to equip students with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of an increasingly digital landscape. This lab represents a significant milestone as we empower our students to explore, innovate and excel in the dynamic fields of artificial intelligence and robotics.
