International Yoga Day
Celebrate the spirit of the day
Yoga day is celebrated on 21 st July every year.
This year a special session was organized for the students of the Primary Section.
The session was conducted by the instructor, Chantelle Cabral. Children learnt a
few asanas, such as Tadasana (the mountain pose), Vrikshasana (the tree pose)
and Shavasana, to name a few. Students were also introduced to breathing
techniques, i.e. pranayamas for awareness and relaxation.
The half-hour session helped the students to understand many benefits of yoga.
