Prefect Investiture Ceremony 2024-2025
The Prefect Investiture Ceremony was held in the Gulati Hall of St. Vincent’s High School on the 11 th of July 2024 in two sessions for Std. V to VII at 9:30 a.m. and for Std. VIII to X at
11:30 a.m. The theme for the occasion was ‘Illuminate the path, Lead with your heart’. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invoking God’s blessings and guidance through a short prayer service. The Principal Reverend Father Titus Thangaraj, along with Vice Principal Reverend Father Raja, did the honours of pinning the badges on the stalwart prefect community, where they pledged their loyalty, sincerity, and commitment to the school and all it stands for. They promised to do the duties entrusted to them to the best of their ability. The Principal Reverend Father Titus Thangaraj delivered an inspiring speech to the newly elected prefects, emphasising the importance of illuminating the path for others through compassion and empathy. The ceremony concluded with a speech by the head boy, Master Steffan Pereira, in which he expressed that being the head boy is not just a position but a commitment to lead by example, through which all the prefects can make a difference. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Assistant Head Girl followed by the school anthem. The musical accompanists throughout the programme were Master Mohit Suchak on the keyboard and Master Jace D’Souza on the violin.
