Primary – Independence Day Celebration

Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom

The Independence Day celebrations in the Primary Section were held on 14th August 2026 at Fr. Oesch Hall with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme commenced
with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Fr. Francis Gonsalves, followed by a prayer seeking blessings for our nation. The boys of Std. 4 presented an engaging skit depicting the story of India’s struggle for Independence. This was followed by a colourful fancy dress presentation by the boys of Std. 1 and 2, who portrayed inspiring freedom fighters, including Bhagat Singh, Jawaharlal
Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and Rani Lakshmibai, among others. The school choir added to the patriotic atmosphere with a melodious rendition of Freedom.
The Chief Guest then addressed the students and highlighted the importance of freedom and their responsibilities as future citizens. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with pride and gratitude for our country.
