Pre-Primary Section Turns into an Ocean of Joy for Blue Day
Theme: Save Water, Save the Future
If you happened to walk past the Pre-Primary block this past Friday, you might have double-checked your compass to make sure you hadn’t accidentally stepped onto a tropical island. The entire wing transformed into a sparkling, vibrant sea of azure, navy, and sky blue as our tiny tots celebrated Blue Day with a splashy twist: learning how to save every precious drop of water!
🌊 A Sea of Blue: Setting the Scene
From kindergarteners rocking the dress code of blue shirts and T-shirts was strictly oceanic. The classrooms were decked out in floating blue water droplets, blue umbrellas, hand-painted paper waves, cut-outs of cheerful rain clouds, and swimming fish.
Even the teachers joined the fun, dressed like friendly sea crew members guiding their young passangers on a mission to protect Earth’s most valuable resource.
🎨 Highlights of the Day
Our little environmental champions didn’t just look cool—they spent the day diving into hands-on learning activities designed to teach water conservation in the most engaging ways possible.
Hands-On Craft: “Every Drop Counts” Pledges
Armed with safety scissors, and endless enthusiasm, the kids created personalized water drop wristbands and bookmarks. Each child participated in a fun craft conducted in the individual classroom focusing on the theme “We Pledge to Save Water!”
🎵 Rhymes, Rhythms & Splashy Beats
No Pre-Primary event is complete without a sing-along! The young stars along with their singing teacher Mrs. Connie enjoyed singing to a musical tune of :
“Drip, drop, drip, drop, turn the tap tight! Saving every little drop keeps our future bright!” With synchronized hand gestures and energetic stomping, our mini-activists delivered performance-worthy renditions of water-themed nursery rhymes that had everyone clapping along.
Blue Day proved that big lessons come in small packages. Through laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of blue paint, our Pre-Primary students showed us that you are never too small to make a big difference.
