Marathi Diwas

Marathi Diwas celebrated on February 27th  each year  , honors the rich heritage , culture , and legacy of the MARATHI LANGUAGE. It marks the birth anniversary of the renowned Marathi poet VISHNU VAMAN SHIRWADKAR ( KUSUMAGRAJ), who significantly contributed to Marathi literature.
