Prefect Investiture Ceremony (Junior College)
On 13th October 2026, the Prefects of Standard XI embarked on a new journey of stewardship and were conferred their Prefect badges for the year 2026-2027. The investiture ceremony was conducted during the morning assembly with solemnity and grandeur.
The Principal, Rev. Fr. Titus, bestowed the Prefect Badges and invested the designated students of classes XI A, XI B and XI C with their respective obligations. The incoming Prefects for this year were Regina Ria Fernandes, Shanaia Nathan, Kim Satralkar, Ruchita Londhe, Valencia Kannan, and Yashita Balgude among the girls’ section and Aditya Jadhav, Shadrach D’Souza, Rylan D’Souza, Siddhant Shroff, Abner Anthony and Harshwardhan Patil among the boys’ section.
The newly appointed Prefects marched onto the stage accompanied by the Prefects of Standard XII, and were entrusted with their badges in the presence of the school and junior college. They undertook the oath to strive for excellence and discipline and exhibited the four Jesuit values of Competence, Conscience, Compassion and Commitment.
The Principal addressed the newly appointed Prefects and the school and emphasised the importance of Service and Humility- the Paramount qualities of a Leader. Thereafter, the Head Boy, Manav Sharma Khandale led the newly appointed Prefects and the Prefects of Standard XII as they marched off the stage with poise and proceeded towards the library. The Installation Ceremony was conducted in a well-coordinated and flawless manner and demonstrated the unwavering dedication of the institute to imbibe the qualities of leadership among the students.
