THE FEAST OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL CHARITY DRIVE

“Go to the poor, you will find God.” – St. Vincent de Paul
In celebration of the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, our school’s patron, a special charity drive was conducted to exemplify his enduring spirit of service and commitment to the marginalized. The entire school community enthusiastically participated, resulting in a successful cash collection dedicated to supporting various initiatives for the less fortunate. The total collected amount was thoughtfully allocated to maximize its impact across three distinct areas of need.
1) Aadiwasi Welfare: A significant portion of the funds was dedicated to the Aadiwasi Welfare program, supporting educational and livelihood initiatives for tribal communities.
2) Hostel Development: A second allocation was made to the Dnyanmata School’s affiliated hostel to facilitate the purchase of an interactive panel. This investment in technology will greatly enhance the learning environment and educational outcomes for the resident students.
3) Sarva Seva Sangh: The remaining funds were channeled through the Sarva Seva Sangh organization. This amount was specifically utilized to purchase essential daily items and provisions for distribution among street children, providing immediate relief and care.
This collective act of generosity reflects our school’s deep commitment to the values taught by St. Vincent de Paul. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all students, staff, and parents who contributed, enabling us to extend a hand of hope and charity to those who need it most.
