Sensitisation Seminar on Child Safety and Responsible Behaviour arranged by Sakhi Savitri Committee

Our school organised an enlightening Sensitisation Seminar on Child Safety for students of Classes 5 to 10, conducted by Dr. Anuja Kulkarni, a renowned Consultant Psychologist. The sessions were held on 15th and 16th December 2025 in Fr Oesch Hall and  Gulati Hall.
Dr. Kulkarni addressed crucial topics related to the physical, emotional, and digital safety of children and adolescents. She highlighted the various challenges young students face today, including peer pressure, online risks, and maintaining personal boundaries. Through relatable examples and interactive discussions, she helped students understand the importance of responsible behaviour, self-awareness, and self-protection.She also guided students on stress management and effective last minute exam preparation, offering simple techniques to stay calm and focused.
A major focus of the seminar was empowering students to identify unsafe situations, seek help, and communicate openly with trusted adults. Dr. Kulkarni emphasised the significance of consent, respect, emotional well-being, and responsible online conduct. Her approach made students feel comfortable, engaged, and confident in voicing their thoughts.
The sessions were extremely informative and helped students build essential life skills to navigate both the physical world and the digital space safely. The school expresses sincere gratitude to Dr. Anuja Kulkarni for her valuable time and expertise, and for creating a positive and safe learning environment for our students.
