*Recent Initiatives and Developments at St. Vincent’s high school and junior college*
We are pleased to announce the following initiatives and developments aimed at enhancing student safety, well-being, and educational excellence.
*Seminars on Student Well-being and Education*
On 30th September 2024, we conducted two insightful seminars:
– Morning Session (8:45 am – 11:45 am): Sr. Libania led a seminar on “Understanding Adolescent Sexual Behaviour: Implications and Legal Responsibilities,” equipping educators with essential knowledge and strategies.
– Afternoon Session (1 pm – 2:40 pm): Fr. Peter D’Cruz facilitated a seminar on “Dialogue in Education,” promoting inclusive and effective communication.
*Sakhi Savitri Committee Formation*
We are pleased to announce the formation of the Sakhi Savitri Committee for the term 2024-2027. This committee will play a vital role in promoting student well-being and addressing concerns.
*Enhanced Safety Measures*
To ensure student safety:
– Additional CCTV cameras have been installed across the premises.
– Grievance boxes have been installed in all sections, from pre-primary to junior college, providing a confidential reporting mechanism.
*Staff Integrity*
Demonstrating our commitment to integrity, all teaching and non-teaching staff have been issued letters to submit their character certificates.
These initiatives reaffirm our dedication to creating a secure, supportive, and inclusive environment for our students. We will continue to strive for excellence in education and student well-being.
