National Sports Day Celebration 2025
Our school joyfully celebrated National Sports Day on 28th and 29th August 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation. National Sports Day is observed every year on 29th August to mark the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, who was born in 1905. Widely regarded as one of the greatest field hockey players of all time, Dhyan Chand was the shining star of the legendary Indian hockey teams that dominated the Olympics from 1929 to 1936.To honour his legacy, the school organized two days of fun-filled activities for all the boys from LKG to Std 6. The program was conducted at the Oesch Hall (Ground Floor) and at the Basketball Court (Upstairs), where students enjoyed a wide variety of exciting games such as hopscotch, fish the bottle, roller-coaster, scroll the ball, car race, catch the baton, and many more. The entire campus was filled with laughter, cheer, and sporting spirit as the children actively participated in the events. All the teachers from the Pre-Primary and Primary section enthusiastically handled the different stalls and ensured the smooth conduct of the activities. The entire planning and setup of the games were wonderfully organized by our dedicated PE teachers – Savio Sir and Yash Sir. Adding to the festive atmosphere, there were many food stalls, serving a variety of delicious treats that everyone relished.
All this was made possible with the constant support and encouragement of our Primary Supervisor, Mrs. V. Cabral, our Principal, Rev. Fr. Titus, and our Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Raja. Their guidance and motivation added to the success of the event. The two-day celebration was a delightful experience for the young boys and truly captured the spirit of National Sports Day, reminding everyone of the joy, teamwork, and energy that sports bring into our lives.
