Marathi Day

Marathi Day

Marathi Day was celebrated on February 27, 2026, with great enthusiasm and excitement. Students dressed up as Marathi poets and writers, including the iconic Kusumagraj, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, a renowned Marathi poet and writer.

Our school organized a special assembly where students recited Marathi poems and abhangs, showcasing their linguistic skills and creativity. The event aimed to promote the use of Marathi in daily life, encourage young people to appreciate their linguistic heritage, and foster a sense of community among Marathi speakers.

The celebrations also included a special Marathi song performed by our school staff, highlighting our rich linguistic heritage.

Students of Std. V–IX participated in a Marathi handwriting competition. The Marathi Day celebration was a grand success, showcasing the linguistic talent of our students.
