Drawing Competition – Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola
On 29th July 2025, St. Joseph’s Night High School organised a Drawing Competition to mark the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the revered founder of the Society of Jesus. The event aimed to inspire students by reflecting upon the life, virtues, and enduring legacy of this great saint through the medium of art.
Participants from various standards took part with commendable enthusiasm, translating their understanding of St. Ignatius’s vision, resilience, and devotion into imaginative and expressive illustrations. The themes centred on his spiritual journey, his dedication to education and service, and his unwavering faith, all of which were depicted with creativity, skill, and sincerity.
The competition not only served to nurture artistic talent but also provided students with a deeper appreciation of St. Ignatius’s contributions to faith and humanity. The event concluded on a note of inspiration, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated and witnessed the creative interpretations.
