St. Joseph’s Night High School – 14 & 15 November

St. Joseph’s Night High School celebrated Children’s Day over two vibrant days, offering students a variety of engaging, musical, and enriching experiences.

Day 1 (14 November):
The celebration began with an inspiring address by Mr. Shaikh, highlighting the significance of Children’s Day and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s affection for children. This was followed by a heartfelt prayer song by Mr. Anthony Jadhav and a melodious group performance by the teachers. Students then participated in a musical therapy session conducted by the Avartan Dance Foundation, led by Ms. Shruti Mehta and Ms. Sayee Kulkarni. The session promoted relaxation, emotional well-being, and self-expression through music and movement.

Day 2 (15 November):
The second day opened with a beautiful song by Mr. Aakash, setting an energetic and joyful tone. This was followed by a dynamic musical session led by master musician Mr. Dinesh Patole, who introduced students to the Djembe and engaged them in rhythmic activities. Known for his expertise with over 20 instruments and numerous performances, he offered students an inspiring and memorable experience.

Before concluding the session, Mr. Aakash performed once again—this time joined by student Ms. Fatima Shaikh. Their graceful duet was warmly appreciated and provided a heartfelt conclusion to the celebration.

Conclusion:
The two-day event was filled with joy, learning, music, and inspiration. The school expressed gratitude to all presenters, performers, and participants for contributing to a meaningful and memorable Children’s Day celebration.
