On 28^th September 2026, a special assembly was conducted for the students and staff. The focus of the assembly was to highlight the essence of the life of St. Vincent de Paul, specifically concentrating on his unwavering virtue of charity and service to the poor. The assembly provided an opportunity for everyone to reflect on the life and message of the saint and renew our commitment to the of service in our daily lives. Winners of various competitions held were recognized for their efforts and presented with prizes to encourage their involvement.

A solemn Feast Mass was celebrated at St. Xavier’s Church on 28^th September 2026. The main celebrant for the Mass was Rev. Fr. Agnelo Mascarenhas SJ, who had been appointed Jesuit Provincial of Pune Province in 2020. The central theme of the mass, shared with the entire congregation, was: “The Cry of the Earth is the Cry of the Poor”.  The meaningful participation of the students and staff contributed to making the celebration a memorable and spiritually enriching experience.

Following the spiritual celebration, a community gathering and fellowship meal was held, bringing together all the Priests, current staff, and ex-staff members of St. Vincent’s High School, fostering a strong sense of community and shared mission. The Feast Day was also marked by a significant institutional milestone: the inauguration of two newly constructed and expanded facilities- The Fr. Joseph Brunner Lobby and the recently expanded Nursery. The inauguration ceremony was conducted at the hands of Rev. Fr. Provincial, Agnelo Mascarenhas.
The successful commemoration of the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul and the inauguration of new facilities reinforce the school commitment to both its spiritual values and its dedication to providing excellent educational infrastructure.

St. Vincent de Paul Celebration – Pre-Primary Section

The Pre-Primary Section celebrated St. Vincent de Paul Day with great enthusiasm and joy on 24^th September, 2026. The celebration was organised to introduce our young learners to the life and values of St. Vincent de Paul, who is remembered for his compassion, kindness and service towards the poor and needy.

The children were introduced to his life through a simple and age-appropriate story, helping them understand the importance of being kind, caring and helpful towards others. They learnt that even small acts of love and kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life.

As part of the celebration, the children participated in a special kindness activity. They were encouraged to share, care and help others in their daily lives. Through creative classroom activities, the children expressed their understanding of kindness and compassion. They enjoyed making colourful kindness-themed crafts and cards, reinforcing the message of love, sharing and helping those in need.

The celebration provided a meaningful learning experience for our little ones and helped nurture important values such as empathy, generosity, respect and compassion. The children enthusiastically participated in the activities and understood that we can all follow St. Vincent de Paul’s example by spreading happiness and helping others.

The day concluded with a beautiful message for our young learners:

“Be kind, share what you have, and always lend a helping hand.”

To commemorate the feast of St. Vincent de Paul and introduce students to his values, a series of activities was held for Classes 1 to 4 on 21 st September 2026. Class 1 students completed a maze that guided St. Vincent de Paul towards the poor. Class 2 students solved a fun-fact puzzle offering interesting insights into his life. Classes 3 and 4 designed bookmarks featuring his inspiring words: “Go to the poor, you will find God.” These activities prompted students to reflect on St. Vincent de Paul’s values and encouraged them to practice kindness, compassion, charity and service to others.

Our school is proud to announce the excellent performance of our students in the Government Scholarship Examination 2025–26. Students from Std. IV, V, VII and VIII appeared for the examination with enthusiasm, dedication, and determination.

The Annual Day of St. Vincent’s Primary School was conducted on 18 September 2026 at Gulati Hall. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Caring for Our Common Home.” The programme highlighted the importance of protecting our environment and caring for the world we share. The event provided the students with an opportunity to showcase their talents and convey a meaningful message of love and responsibility towards our common home.

A Drawing Competition was conducted at St. Vincent’s High School on 18th September 2026 for the students of Std. V to Std. VIII. The competition was held during the first three periods of the school day.

The competition aimed to encourage students to express their creativity while creating awareness about important environmental issues. Each standard was given a different theme related to sustainability and environmental conservation.

The themes for the competition were:

• Std. V – “Harvest Water”: Harvest more water than consuming.
• Std. VI – “Carbon Neutral”: Minimise carbon emissions and offset the rest.
• Std. VII – “Zero Waste to Landfills”: Compost, recycle and avoid sending waste to landfills.
• Std. VIII – “Biodiversity Enhancing”: Maintain gardens and habitats for wildlife.

Students participated enthusiastically and used their artistic skills to portray their understanding of the given themes. Their drawings reflected creative ideas and highlighted the importance of conserving natural resources, reducing waste, controlling carbon emissions and protecting biodiversity.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to combine artistic expression with environmental awareness. It encouraged them to think about practical ways in which they can contribute towards a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future.

Overall, the Drawing Competition was an enriching and meaningful activity that brought out the creativity of the students while promoting important environmental values.
